Boathouses ( Watercolor )

The boathouses were built during the 1850's on Canandaigua's city pier. By 1888 there were over 80 boathouses along the pier. In 1990 they were added to the Canandaigua Historic District to preserve their heritage.

The boathouses are an attraction to photographers and artists and certainly caught my attention with their unique and rustic structure.
